Our purchasing department

Purchasing at CATL is divided into direct, indirect and construction purchasing.

Purchasing is responsible for procuring services as well as materials that are needed across the entire company structure.

The tasks in purchasing are very diverse and range from procurement market analysis and supplier selection to contract and price negotiation with final order processing in SAP. The follow-up of delivery dates as well as supplier management are also important tasks in the daily work of a purchaser.

Our logistics

Only with the fast and accurate processing of deliveries and shipments, targeted procurement and sophisticated logistics will the production and shipment of battery cells function.

In addition, our logistics department deals with supply chain management, logistics process planning, and production and transport planning.

This department is thus an essential part of our production. Without a smooth process, our Arnstadt plant could not operate properly.
