Starting in fall 2025, you will once again have the opportunity to begin your training at CATL.

We offer various apprenticeship programs in the areas of maintenance, production, and logistics.

Production

Training: Machine and plant operator

Place of training: Arnstadt

Duration: 2 years

Minimum qualification: Lower secondary school

Location of vocational school: Arnstadt

Maintenance

Apprenticeships: Mechatronics technician, Industrial mechanic

Place of training: Arnstadt

Duration: 3,5 years

Minimum qualification: Secondary School

Location of vocational school: Ilmenau (mechatronics) and Arnstadt (industrial mechanics)

Logistics

Training: Warehouse logistics specialist

Place of training: Arnstadt

Duration: 3 years

Minimum qualification: Lower Secondary school

Location of vocational school: Ilmenau

Pupil internship at CATL:

If you are not yet sure whether an apprenticeship is right for you, you can gain initial experience in an industrial company during a student internship with us.

You don't have to limit yourself to one area, because we know how hard it can be to decide.

Procedure:

  • Monday: Get to know the production department
  • Tuesday: Get to know the maintenance department
  • Wednesday: Get to know logistics
  • Thursday and Friday: in-depth training in your favorite department

After your third day, you can decide which department you liked best. This way you can deepen your knowledge according to your interests.

On all days, you will be accompanied by colleagues from the respective departments or by our training manager.
