Krystian from logistics

Krystian (25) is from Erfurt, works as a team leader in the PMC area and collaborates with eleven other employees, whom he instructs and supervises. Together is important

Krystian has already gained experience in the field of logistics at other companies but wasn't able to develop: "[...] If I have things to say, I'm listened to. And of course, the opportunity to develop myself. I started as a warehouse worker. I had no experience as a team leader before. At CATL, they saw that I was doing my job well. They recognized that I have a lot of knowledge and that I can share it with others. That's why I was promoted to team leader."

No boredom

In particular, Krystian appreciates the fact that there is never a moment of boredom in his area: "We always have something to do here and are always in contact with each other. If something isn't right, I have to contact my colleagues in production or go to quality assurance if there are quality problems.”

Lateral entry makes it possible

He studied information technology in his home country Poland, but was unable to work in this sector in Germany, but he enjoys the logistics and the cooperation between the various departments. Also because he is able to improve his German more and more as time goes by: "In the meantime, I can communicate well with my colleagues. It's not perfect, but it's getting better and better. And I've been promoted, of course. I'm also being taught a lot of knowledge about SAP by my older colleague. Maybe I'd like to do that later, too."
