Specialist HR - Compensation & Benefits (m/f/d)

Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Independently and timely processing of monthly payroll
- Payroll-related processing of new hires, terminations, contract changes, and other personnel actions
- Preparation and follow-up on all payroll-related matters in accordance with legal, income tax, and company regulations
- Handling statutory registrations and deregistrations for social security
- Serving as a knowledgeable point of contact for our employees and managers on all payroll-related issues
- Acting as contact person to other departments and external entities such as insurance providers, health insurance companies, and government agencies on tax and social security matters, including certification and reporting procedures
- Maintain and manage payroll-related personnel master data and transaction data
- Ensure seamless document management, including retrieving and verifying payroll-related wage and salary documents
Our Requirements:
- Completed business apprenticeship, ideally as a tax administrator, human resources specialist, office management specialist, or a comparable qualification
- Relevant professional experience in payroll accounting is desirable
- In-depth knowledge of income tax, social security, and labor law
- Good knowledge of statutory reporting and certification procedures
- Knowledge of calculating allowances, bonuses, non-cash compensation, and variable compensation components, as well as company pension plans and other employer benefits
- Proficiency in using standard payroll software, ideally Lodas, DATEV, SAP HCM, or comparable programs
- Willingness to stay informed about changes in laws and collective bargaining agreements and to further develop your professional expertise
- Independent, structured, and conscientious work style
- Strong sense of responsibility and exceptional reliability
- Diligence and accuracy, particularly when processing payroll-related data
- Discretion and a strong awareness of the need to handle personal and sensitive data confidentially
- Good analytical and organizational skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a friendly and service-oriented attitude toward employees and external contacts
- Very good written and spoken German and English
