Shaping the Forest of the Future Together – CATL Germany’s Sustainable Commitment

Thuringia is known for its impressive natural landscapes, and we want to help preserve and strengthen them.
Since 2021, CATL Germany has been actively committed to reforesting the forests of Thuringia. In cooperation with Baumpaten Deutschland, more than 10,000 trees have already been planted – a strong statement of environmental awareness and responsibility.

Climate change is also leaving clear marks on Thuringia’s forests: according to the State Forestry Office, the area of barren forest sections increased by about one-third between 2021 and 2022 alone. Spruce monocultures are particularly affected, increasingly suffering from drought and bark beetle infestations.

Our response: diversity instead of uniformity. To strengthen the resilience of forests, we focus on transforming monocultures into healthy mixed forests.

Through regular planting campaigns, our employees and volunteers together create new momentum for a greener future. Whether as a team or individually – at CATL we live sustainability not only in our products, but also in our actions.
