Career change at CATL - Do something great!

 

You also want to become the battery expert of tomorrow, but you don't have any work experience in the production area yet?

No problem! For our battery cell and module production, we offer you the opportunity to also become successful as a career changer at CATL!

Together with the Erfurt education center EBZ and the VHS Bildungswerk Gotha, we have developed qualification measures that will make you ready for everyday work in a production environment.

Duration of measures:

  • Erfurt Education Center: approx. 12 weeks incl. 2 weeks internship with us
  • VHS Bildungswerk Gotha: approx. 10 weeks incl. 2 weeks internship with us
     

Within this time period you will learn the following valuable contents:

  • Basics (electrical engineering, battery technology, clean room technology, documentation, occupational safety)
  • Setting up machines and safe operation of electrical systems
  • Quality control (basics of electrical measurement technology)
  • Welding (X-ray radiation, ultrasonic welding, pneumatics, joining technology, leakage testing, laser cutting)

After passing the final exam, you will join CATL directly as a production employee!

The cell and module production teams are already looking forward to meeting you!

A few facts about the qualification

  • In 2022 we have already successfully taken over 16 employees from 2 qualification courses
  • Our lateral entrants come from the skilled trades, logistics and retail, nursing as well as from the catering and hotel industry, among others
  • We are looking for personalities with a willingness to learn, openness to an international team and the desire to participate in the corporate development of a global company
