This is your new challenge:

  • Providing technical and managerial leadership to the operational logistics team
  • Overseeing and coordinating daily warehouse activities such as goods receipt, putaway, order picking, packing and dispatch
  • Training and motivating warehouse staff to achieve productivity and performance targets
  • Identifying and implementing improvement measures to optimise warehouse processes
  • Ensuring compliance with occupational safety, health and quality standards
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and preparing reports for management (e.g. stock levels, error rates, productivity)

 

Here’s what will convince us:

  • Completed vocational training and/or a degree in logistics (e.g. logistics management) and relevant professional experience in warehouse logistics
  • Detailed knowledge of operational processes, including goods receipt/dispatch, storage and transport
  • Expertise in bonded warehouses as well as legal standards and guidelines, including IATF 16049, hazardous materials, occupational safety and transport, and logistics and quality tools such as Kanban and FMEA
  • Expert knowledge of Lean and warehouse management, as well as SAP-based booking processes
  • Excellent written and spoken German, English and Chinese
