Teamleader Operative Logistics (m/w/d)

Your duties and responsibilities:

• You will assist the Supervisor Warehouse and Shift Supervisors in building and monitoring the logistics team.
• You will conduct the daily pre-shift meetings with the logistics team
• You will be responsible for the reasonable distribution of work tasks according to the production, delivery and supply schedule
• You will ensure that the logistics teams properly implement posting procedures in the warehouse management software
• You motivate your team to optimize processes and implement the principle of continuous improvement
• You will carry out on-site management, ensure team members comply with and maintain company regulations as well as occupational health and safety rules and transport, customs and ADR regulations
• You lead the teams according to the 5S methodology
• You manage special cases and emergencies in production and logistics operations
• You check tools and equipment for their usability in order to uncover cost saving potentials
• You support the specialist department in the preparation of training documents and carry out appropriate training of employees

Your talents and skills:

• You have completed vocational training in logistics and have relevant work experience in warehouse logistics
• You have a detailed knowledge of operational processes including goods receipt/issue, storage and transportation
• Ideally, you have expert knowledge of bonded warehouses as well as legal standards and guidelines, including IATF16049, Environment 14001, hazardous materials, fire protection, occupational safety and transport as well as logistics and quality tools such as Kanban and FMEA.
• You have very good leadership skills
• You have a very good command of written and spoken German and can also communicate in English.
