You are responsible for:

 

  • Definition and implementation of standards and procedures for occupational health and safety in accordance with ASiG and DGUV regulations
  • Point of contact for managers and employees regarding occupational safety and accident prevention
  • Support in the preparation and maintenance of risk assessments for workplaces and facilities
  • Conducting and monitoring safety inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments
  • Implementation of training sessions and briefings on safety and health-related topics
  • Development and support in establishing an occupational safety management system
  • Participation in project and working groups, e.g. in occupational health management
  • Liaising with external bodies (e.g. regulatory authorities, employers’ liability insurance associations)
  • Preparation of documentation

 

 

What you need to succeed with us:

 

  • Qualification as a Specialist for Occupational Safety (SiFa)
  • Solid professional experience in occupational safety within an industrial company
  • Up-to-date knowledge of German occupational health and safety regulations and the ISO 45001 safety management system
  • Knowledge of RAB30, VOB, commissioning, fire protection, hazardous substances, and environmental management is an advantage
  • Experience in organizing and conducting safety audits
  • Experience in designing and delivering training programs is desirable
  • Very good German language skills are essential; English skills at B1 level are desirable
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Strong consulting skills, negotiation abilities, assertiveness, initiative, and an independent, structured way of working
