This is your new challenge:
- Overall responsibility for the operational management of one production plant section, including disciplinary management of the production area
- Coordination and cooperation with all functional teams to achieve project and operational targets (KPIs) such as occupational safety, quality, costs, efficiency and inventory
- (Further) development of short and long-term strategies and priorities in line with the company's development strategy and corresponding control of processes and costs
- Overall responsibility for the further development of the teams and team structures (organization) as well as ensuring employee motivation together with the respective direct supervisors to fully meet operational requirements and customer satisfaction
- Ensuring and promoting the corporate culture in the responsible area
- Ensuring safe and efficient operations, including productivity, quality and occupational health and safety
- Continuous improvement of operational processes according to the lean principle and the Six Sigma methodology
These are your qualifications:
- Completed academic degree or comparable qualification or working experience with a focus on technical management, business management or supply chain management
- Several years of experience in a comparable position, preferably in the automotive sector and previous experience in production management
- Solid leadership experience in an intercultural context, as well as experience in the further development of team and corporate culture
- Experience in the area of quality management systems ISO 9001:2000 or IATF as well as in the implementation of the corresponding standards
- Strong communication, coordination and organizational skills
- Strong systematic, structured and independent way of working
- Fluent language skills in German and English
