Your tasks will be:

  • Conduct safety inspections and audits, drive completion of corrective actions;
  • Write safety reports and communicate them to stakeholders;
  • Assist in implementation of safety management system and programs, like safety training, emergency drills, fire safety management;
  • Support safety engineer to develop and implement annual emergency drill plan;
  • Purchase materials or service that EHS department needs, including but not limited to PPE, firefighting equipment, labels, first aid supplies, etc;
  • Assist safety engineer completing regulatory compliance tasks on time;
  • Manage inventory of PPE, firefighting equipment, emergency response materials, etc;
  • Oversee the safety management of contractors on site;
  • Provide training and safety education to employees;
  • Other tasks assigned by EHS manager and safety engineer.

 

You are the perfect candidate if:

  • You have a high school or bachelor degree in in the field of safety engineering/technology, fire protection, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent experience;
  • You have 1-3 years of EHS work experience;
  • You posess knowledge of labor protection and occupational health regulation and legislation;
  • Basic knowledge of ISO 45001;
  • Knowledge of preparing an occupational health and safety risk assessment;
  • Basic knowledge of fire protection legal requirements;
  • Knowledge of machine and equipment commissioning requirements is an advantage;
  • Ability to work in a challenging and fast paced, collaborative environment and creatively problem-solve.

 

An Advantage:

  • Experience in the battery, chemical or automotive industry or equivalent experience;
  • Fluency in English.
