Your Responsibilites and Tasks:
- Act as the main quality contact for customers in commercial vehicle and ESS projects and maintain strong customer relationships
- Serve as the key interface between customers and internal departments and drive quality topics throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare and coordinate quality-related documents and requirements for customer tenders and project development
- Review and negotiate quality-related contract clauses and customer-specific requirements
- Lead quality activities during design, development and project implementation, including design reviews, quality planning and FQP preparation
- Monitor and lead site quality activities, including quality witnessing, review of quality records and coordination of outsourced quality personnel
- Coordinate site acceptance, TOP documentation, grid acceptance and customer walkdowns to ensure smooth project delivery
- Independently lead the analysis and resolution of complex quality issues, including root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions
- Drive cross-functional problem solving and continuous quality improvement in an international project environment
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience in ESS, customer quality, project quality, supplier quality or a related field, preferably in the automotive, battery or energy industry
- Proven experience in direct customer interaction, handling customer requirements, complaints and escalations
- Strong knowledge of 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, FMEA, SPC and structured problem-solving methods
- Good understanding of quality management systems and customer-specific requirements; IATF 16949 and VDA knowledge is an advantage
- Strong project management, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to independently drive quality topics and cross-functional problem solving
- Fluent in English and German; Chinese is an advantage
- Willingness to travel internationally
