Junior Engineer IT - Production System (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities and Tasks:

 

  • Support the rollout and implementation of production-related IT systems in the plant (e.g. MES), including process gap analysis, solution design, system configuration, testing, and end-user training.
  • Provide daily IT support to plant employees and ensure timely troubleshooting and resolution of system issues to maintain stable production operations.
  • Manage daily system maintenance activities: collect new business requirements and collaborate with the IT team at Headquarters to develop and implement system enhancements.
  • Support the introduction and adoption of new system features in close cooperation with the central IT team.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and automation teams to ensure stable integration between IT systems and shopfloor equipment.
  • Support IT project activities, including coordination, documentation, testing, and risk tracking, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Create and maintain system documentation, user manuals, and operational guidelines.

 

Your Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Informatics, Engineering, or a comparable field
  • Initial hands-on experience with production systems such as MES, preferably in an industrial environment
  • Strong knowledge of system configuration as well as troubleshooting and problem analysis
  • Proficient in common IT tools and software solutions
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong team player
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills, Chinese skill is preferred
