Specialist Immission Control, Environmental Engineer (m/w/d)

You will take on exciting tasks in the EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) department in the team for operational environmental protection. 
The main focus is on compliance with waste, wastewater, exhaust air and other environmental regulations as well as the environmental management system. In addition, an international, friendly team awaits you. 

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Monitoring compliance with all environmentally relevant regulations as well as initiating any necessary measures 
• Evaluation of emission data and all related regulations and permits
• Preparation of reports and inspection protocols
• Supporting and advising the specialist departments in the preparation of notifications and permit applications in accordance with the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG)
• Commissioning and support of expert opinions for immission control licensing procedures
• Establishment of a good relationship and smooth communication with relevant authorities
• Support in the implementation of the environmental management system ISO 14001
• Perspective performance of the function of the immission control/incident officer

Your talents and skills:

• You have successfully completed your studies, preferably in the field of environmental or process engineering, chemistry or in a comparable discipline
• You have expertise in hazardous substances, exhaust air and wastewater treatment
• A plus is the technical qualification according to BImSchV for immission control or hazardous incidents
• You enjoy working in an international team and interdisciplinary cooperation 
• You are quick on the uptake and act in a solution-oriented manner
• You have a very good command of German and a secure or good proficiency of English
