Manager Facility Management (m/f/d)

The Task brings with it: 

 

  • Leading and developing the facility operation management (FOM) team at German sites incl. manpower planning, talent recruitment & training

  • Coordinating and managing FOM data from German sites, establishing German data base, analyzing data and setting up goals for optimization

  • Developing budget and capital plans for FOM at German sites as well as cost plans for maintenance, repair and replacement parts

  • Implementing the energy management system, collecting benchmarking data, establishing unified and coordinated interpretation of standards as well as continuously optimizing energy consumption

  • Developing strategies to support the FOM and service planning stage incl. preparation of required documents (manuals, operation instructions and related documents)

  • Overall management of German resources, coordinating the dynamic management mechanism of relevant suppliers, and assisting Purchasing department in bidding to achieve optimal costs

  • Contract management of German sites and review of project-related prices

  • Managing the standardized model of outsourcing business at German sites and establishing a unified management platform

  • Preparation and management of compliance document

 

What YOU bring with:

 

  • Bachelor degree in engineering with a focus on mechanical/electrical engineering or related fields of study

  • Solid work and management experience in facility operations management, preferred in industries (50.000qm facility) and intercultural environment

  • Professional knowledge in the field of facility operation management

  • Experience in project management related FOM software is a plus

  • Strong abilities to execute, learn, perform under pressure, communicate, coordinate and organize

  • Good leadership and team management skills

  • Fluency in German and English, knowledge of Chinese is an advantage
