Manager Environment, Health & Saftey (m/w/d)

Your duties and responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and maintain an effective and efficient Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) management system including health protection
• Develop, implement and continuously improve the company's EHS strategy and EHS culture, in addition to developing site programs, plans and processes to implement the EHS strategy
• Implementation and management of an EHS committee (ASA)
• Represent EHS within the organization and departments
• Support and advise site management on compliance with local EHS regulations, requirements and standards of the company in Germany
• Work closely with departments and site management to establish safe work practices and improvement programs to ensure EHS elements are integrated into the site's operational processes

Your Talents and Skills:

• You have a degree in engineering, for example with a specialization in occupational health and safety or environmental protection or a comparable specialization
• You have several years of professional experience as an EHS/HSE manager in an industrial company, ideally with the manufacture of electrical, electronic or mechatronic products
• You have safety knowledge in terms of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and in fire protection
• You have the ability to understand complex, interdependent systems, define problems and develop solutions
• You are also able to communicate clearly and concisely
• You enjoy working in an international team
• You bring initiative, flexibility as well as organizational talent and work responsibly or absolutely reliably
• You are quick on the uptake and able to keep a cool head even in challenging situations.
• You communicate excellently in German and English and are convincing both verbally and in writing
