Safety Technician

Your tasks will be:
- Conduct safety inspections and audits, drive completion of corrective actions;
- Write safety reports and communicate them to stakeholders;
- Assist in implementation of safety management system and programs, like safety training, emergency drills, fire safety management;
- Support safety engineer to develop and implement annual emergency drill plan;
- Purchase materials or service that EHS department needs, including but not limited to PPE, firefighting equipment, labels, first aid supplies, etc;
- Assist safety engineer completing regulatory compliance tasks on time;
- Manage inventory of PPE, firefighting equipment, emergency response materials, etc;
- Oversee the safety management of contractors on site;
- Provide training and safety education to employees;
- Other tasks assigned by EHS manager and safety engineer.
You are the perfect candidate if:
- You have a high school or bachelor degree in in the field of safety engineering/technology, fire protection, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent experience;
- You have 1-3 years of EHS work experience;
- You posess knowledge of labor protection and occupational health regulation and legislation;
- Basic knowledge of ISO 45001;
- Knowledge of preparing an occupational health and safety risk assessment;
- Basic knowledge of fire protection legal requirements;
- Knowledge of machine and equipment commissioning requirements is an advantage;
- Ability to work in a challenging and fast paced, collaborative environment and creatively problem-solve.
An Advantage:
- Experience in the battery, chemical or automotive industry or equivalent experience;
- Fluency in English.
