Maintenance Engineering Manager

CATL is building its second European production base in Debrecen to serve the European market even more efficiently and to develop its international production network.

Your tasks will be:

•    Implement maintenance for production equipment to ensure its reliability and the high-quality completion of tasks
•    Support the improvement of safety, quality, processes, and production by formulating, implementing plans.
•    Find effective solutions and methods based on data analysis to improve output, efficiency and quality in the organization and processes
•    Summarize and organize personal knowledge and experience, create knowledge repositories, develop working methods
•    Improve workflows for coordinate staff, processes, customers, and other business areas
•    Identify key skills for the team, create training plans, and ensure their implementation
•    Recognize and develop high-potential talent to strengthen the team’s capabilities.
•    Manage factory operations
•    Achieve organizational and department goals


What we expect from you:

•    Bachelor's degree or higher in fields like electronics, electrical engineering, automation, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or related areas.
•    9-15 years of experience in equipment maintenance, with at least 5 years in maintenance management
•    Strong knowledge in motor drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, material handling, machining, and mechanical structures.
•    Basic knowledge of electricity, software, vision systems, and robotics.
•    Familiar with mechanical automation, including the use and maintenance of robot fixtures, welding fixtures, assembly fixtures, rollers, and cutters.
•    Skilled in electrical maintenance of equipment.
•    Clear logical thinking, strong initiative, excellent communication skills, and solid project management experience.
•    Ability to align team members' skills with job requirements and maximize their potential.
•    Fluency in English and Hungarian
•    Strong communication, leadership, and the ability to work under pressure.

 

An advantage:

•    Experience in battery manufacturing, lithium battery industry is preferred.
