IT System Engineer

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the rollout of new systems in the factory: analyzing process differences, preparing solution proposals, system configuration, testing, and user training
• Managing daily system operations: collecting new requirements, developing solutions in cooperation with the central IT team, and delivering them to end users
• Providing quick troubleshooting for production systems to ensure continuous stability
• Supporting the implementation of new features together with central IT
• Managing IT projects, including planning, risk management, and resource coordination
• Providing day-to-day IT support to colleagues (computer setup, account and email configuration, software installation, IP phone setup)
• Maintaining ICT equipment such as printers, meeting room devices, and computers
• Performing software updates (e.g. Windows updates, security patches)
• Developing standard IT service processes in line with ITIL guidelines
• Managing ICT assets and coordinating procurement
• Ensuring compliance with information security requirements, conducting regular audits, and providing related training
• Handling day-to-day IT troubleshooting for employees

You are the perfect candidate if you obtain:

• A university degree in Information Technology or a related field
• Strong English communication skills (both written and spoken)
• Relevant experience in IT system operations or support
• Solid knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software
• A precise and solution-oriented mindset with quick problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-service attitude
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work on-site in Debrecen
• Accuracy and attention to detail with excellent record-keeping skills;

It’s an advantage if you have the following:

• Familiarity with the ITIL methodology
• Experience in IT project management
• Experience in a manufacturing environment or with production systems
• Knowledge of information security principles
