The Building Services Maintenance Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of building services systems such as heating, cooling, ventilation, water supply and sewerage. The job involves regularly checking systems, diagnosing and rectifying faults and carrying out preventive maintenance. The Building Services Maintenance Technician will be involved in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and the accurate maintenance of technical documentation. An important task is to ensure the continued operability of equipment, maintain efficiency and optimise energy use. The position requires responsibility, problem solving and teamwork, contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the building.
Your tasks will be:
- Operation, maintenance and repair of building services systems (heating, cooling, ventilation, water and sewage systems).
- Carrying out regular checks in accordance with technical specifications.
- Diagnosing faults and rectifying them quickly and professionally.
- Carry out preventive maintenance work.
- Preparing and updating documentation.
- Compliance with health and safety requirements.
What we expect from you:
- You must have a technical or vocational qualification in civil engineering.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Good problem-solving skills, accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
