What tasks await you?

• Supervising and coordinating the fire brigade staff;
• Ensuring compliance with and updating the facility's fire safety regulations;
• Supervising fire safety equipment (e.g. fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, sprinkler systems);
• Organising training and practical exercises in accordance with fire safety regulations;
• Monitoring compliance with fire safety regulations and making recommendations for improvements where necessary;
• Managing the firefighting unit during fires or other emergencies;
• Developing and updating intervention plans;
• Monitoring changes in fire safety legislation and implementing them;
• Liaising with authorities and supervisory organisations (e.g. disaster protection);
• Coordinating cooperation with external fire brigades and authorities;
• Preparing reports on fires, interventions and exercises.

You are the perfect candidate if:

• You have a higher education degree in fire and disaster protection, firefighting, fire safety or equivalent training;
• You have 5-8 years of experience in fire protection and/or firefighting;
• You have at least 1-2 years of experience in command;
• You are familiar with MS Office and Outlook;
• You have a precise and accurate work ethic and are a good multitasker.

It’s an advantage if you have the following:

• Experience in the battery, chemical or automotive industry or equivalent experience;
• English language knowledge.
