Environmental Engineer (Facility Maintenance)

Your tasks will be:

• As a part of the Facility Operations and Maintenance (FOM) team you will refine and revise the relevant standards in close collaboration with the EHS team to adapt to CATH production. Inspect the implementation of the standards regularly.
• Assist in the management of the entire lifecycle of the plant’s environmental protection system, regularly summarize the environmental protection work, and report to superiors.
• Leading the environmental protection and maintenance matters of the Facility.
• Assist in managing environmental protection suppliers at the facility (contract management, KPI management, etc.).
• Managing the environmental protection technician of the Facility Maintenance department, develop and carry out personnel development plan, work plans, process management communication.
• Lead the development of the annual emergency drill plan for the base and urge all factory personnel to implement it in a timely manner.
• Assist in reviewing FOM clients, conducting EHS/group center inspections, and other related tasks.

What we expect from you:

• University degree on relevant field.
• Familiar with theoretical knowledge such as factory facilities, laws and regulations, and have a certain understanding of operation and maintenance skills.
• Proficient in mastering environmental protection related standards and specifications.
• Proficient in wastewater and exhaust gas treatment processes.
• Rich experience in reviewing environmental protection drawings.
• Ability in using AUTOCAD drawing software.
• Over 4 years of experience in environmental protection system management in large manufacturing enterprises
• Good English and fluent Hungarian language skills
• Having good professional ethics, teamwork awareness, and a sense of work responsibility.
