EHS Safety Engineer
Your tasks will be:
- Participate in the safety management of the battery factory from construction to operation;
- Implement and maintain ISO 45001 management system;
- Prepare risk assessments and prevention concepts to mitigate risks;
- Support managers in investigating injuries, illnesses, near misses, accidents and increased exposures;
- Review processes/work instructions and participate in the drafting of safety related sections;
- Compilation and maintenance of hazardous chemical matrix and exposure/use maps at later stages;
- Organise exposure control measurements (lighting, noise, chemical exposure, BEM, radiation, etc.);
- Initiate and facilitate health and safety training and programmes;
- Advise workers on occupational health and safety issues;
- Manage the commissioning and CE certification processes for factory machinery;
- Support the building commissioning process.
What we expect from you:
- Occupational health and safety engineer or specialist degree;
- At least 3 years' work experience in an industrial environment;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with at least intermediate level of English;
- Determination, consistency, ability to work independently.
