Canteen and cleaning coordinator

Your tasks will be:

  • Oversee day-to-day canteen operations, ensuring timely preparation, quality control and efficient service to meet the needs of our employees;
  • Train and manage kitchen staff, service teams, and cleaning personnel to maintain high standards of hygiene, safety and customer satisfaction;
  • Prepare and manage the budgets for the canteen, track expenses, and optimize operations while adhering to company policies;
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and food regulations, implement best practices in food handling and conduct regular quality checks;
  • Oversee daily cleaning operations performed by the contracted cleaning company to ensure all areas meet established cleanliness standards;
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations in all cleaning activities, especially in production and warehouse areas;
  • Regularly assess the quality of the cleaning service provided by the cleaning company and address any performance issues promptly;
  • Develop and approve cleaning schedules to minimize disruption to operations and ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently;
  • Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper usage to avoid wastage or shortages;
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the company and the cleaning contractor, facilitating clear communication and resolving any concerns.

What we expect from you:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or above;
  • Relevant work experience;
  • Strong communication skills in English;
  • B category driving license;
  • Good organizational and communication skills;
  • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Open-minded attitude;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • Commitment to working in Debrecen.
